![]() Dirty, clammy odors were not listed as the “in-style” smells for this summer. I don't recall seeing that being on the "hot list" on all of the designer style runways or in the latest fashion magazines. But somehow most of our closets are holding onto those strange, foul-smelling odors. The Texas heat is here and I am sure you are pulling out the lighter clothes and shorter shorts that you haven’t worn since last summer. Most likely they don’t smell like they came straight out of the dryer (since they’ve been in an enclosed space), but they are not dirty. Check out these easy and affordable ways to keep your clothes smelling fresh in your closet. This way your clothes can stay fresh on and off your body. ![]() Mosquitos suck....literally! Their presence can turn any outdoor living space into an unwanted area to be in. Recently I hosted my son’s graduation party in our backyard. After two days of torrential Austin downpours, I had a mosquito filled backyard. Needless to say, everyone went home with a few mosquito bites. With all of the research I have done on cleaning our clients’ homes with Eco-Friendly Supplies, I felt horrible when I grabbed the outdoor fogger and sprayed the backyard. Guess what....it didn’t even work! So, I’ve spent the last week experimenting with different solutions and I have a few proven ones that I’d like to share with you. School Is Out and Summer Is In! For most families with children, we understand that summertime brings many extra expenses that the school year helps us avoid such as: summer camps, higher electric bills, grocery bills, utility bills, and more. Our homes that were once vacant from August to June, from 7 am to 3 pm, are now filled with teenagers sleeping in…and not only your children but their friends touching every surface in your home that they can. This is the time of year we really understand the patience of school teachers that watch over our children for 8 hours a day. However, they are watching over them in a confined space and now summertime freedom has children (and all that they come with) attacking every wall of our homes.
