The kids are headed back to school this week and your house shows signs of summer wear and tear. It’s now time to schedule a few after summer cleaning tasks.1.Call the carpet cleaners to come in and clean the summer dirt out of your carpets.2.Take the comforters to the dry cleaners, (Because I can guarantee you that while you were at work this summer and the kids were home they ate in their beds…Most likely with the dogs too)
3.Schedule Penny’s Personal Touch to clean the summer grime out of places that you probably didn’t know grime grew in.
Don’t spend your week cleaning let us do that for you!
Our pets spend more time on our floors than we do. They lay on the floor and sometimes even lick the floor. Be cautious of the cleaner you use on your floors because some store bought cleaners designed to clean floors are not designed to keep pets safe. Their ingredients are harmful to our pets and we usually never know it until our pets get some sort of allergic reaction or become sick with animal flu like symptoms. In the Penny’s Personal Touch world we have met with many clients with concerns of the floor care products we use because they have experienced their pets getting sick because of licking the floor. You can trust that we have done our research on the products we use and we do not use harmful chemicals to clean floors. We also keep updated on the consumer reports on cleaning solutions that have been found to be harmful to pets and we try to make our clients aware of such products.
We all get tired of pulling items out of the dishwasher and putting those same items right back in because of grit and grime that never got washed off completely. Most of us tend to blame the dishwashing detergent that we are using and the commercials all tell us that Cascade is #1. Well, I am here to tell you that with all of the dishwashers we load and unload in the Penny’s Personal Touch Services World that Cascade is not #1!It’s all in how you stack it!
Load your silverware mouth side up in the silverware racks
Load the largest dishes on the back, front and outside parts of the bottom rack dirty side facing the center part of the dishwasher
Load the smallest items in the middle.
The water usually sprays in the middle and if you have the largest items in the middle of the racks they usually get most of the water and suds and block the other items because of their size.
Unfortunately our dishwashers don’t come with X-Ray machines so we can’t tell what’s clean or not until the end of the dry cycle so take your time loading the dishwasher the right way so your dishes can be dinner time ready!
